Specific research aims of the project:
- The major aim of this
research project is to explore the conditions necessary for maximising the
knowledge contribution of NGO’s to planning processes in order to deliver
better integrated human services.
-
To provide methods for identifying the
tacit knowledges and practical wisdoms that flow from local non-government
organizations.
- The project will
explore whether, and how, knowledge situated in diverse, often marginalised
communities and organizations can be brought forward, valued and utilised to
make a more meaningful contribution to human services planning;
- Through exploring
population planning processes, including the Results Accountability
Framework, the project will assist in the development of strategies and
processes for enhanced participation.
